Mr. Speaker, the Department of National Health and Welfare, when it first learned of the alleged Braund cure, sent inquiries at once to the government of New South Wales. The government of New South Wales has advised that an expert committee of inquiry has been set up and is now in the course of investigating the alleged Braund treatment. I have in my hands

a cable received on Saturday last, which in part reads as follows:
Expert committee now investigating. Strongly recommend against patients coming here at present.
