The MINISTER OF THE INTERIOR.

It is found to be very difficult, indeed, without altogether disproportionate expense, to get the returns so separated that they can be properly credited to the province to which they ought to be credited. I believe the ministers concerned have made reasonable efforts in that direction.
Mr. LaRIVIERE. I hope my hon. friend (Mr. Sifton) will set the good example by separating the accounts in his own department.
