Independent Liberal

Mr. POULIOT:

I wish to correct the imputation that has been made about me by the hon. member for Davenport that I was opposed to anything British on the Canadian flag. My contention was that the flag represents the country, and the union flag represents another country. I submit that the union flag is not to be on the Canadian flag itself because it is the flag of another country.
