Mr. CHURCH:

On this day, since the war started, religious broadcasting is here to stay whether the C.B.C. like it or not.
Mr. LaFLECHE: I know I should not
speak too much at this time, but it is hardly fitting to belittle what the corporation is doing. In the reply I gave this afternoon the hon. gentleman will find that the C.B.C. is preparing special programmes in consequence of to-morrow being Good Friday. Good Friday is observed by the corporation by putting on special and appropriate programmes.
