Mr. GORDON GRAYDON (Leader of the Opposition):

Mr. Speaker, I should like to
ask a question of the Minister of Finance, and at the same time to extend to him a welcome back to the house. Perhaps the minister will not be in a position to answer my question to-day, because I had not an opportunity to give him notice of it. I should like him, if he would, to give consideration to a matter which involves a veteran of this war, Mr. John Foster, of Oakville, Ontario, who up to the present time has been denied the opportunity of getting a licence from the wartime prices and trade board for the operation of a business in that town.
