June 17, 1904 (9th Parliament, 4th Session)

?

Rt. H@

That from this date to the end of the session government orders have precedence on
Mondays immediately after questions to be put by members.
He said : I stated the other day to my
hon. friend the leader of the opposition, that when I moved this motion to-day, I would give him some information as to the legislation which we proposed to introduce during the (present session. , In the first place, I stated that we proposed to move some amendments to the present election law. My hon. friend the Minister of Justice has that Bill ready, and it will be introduced early next week ; perhaps Monday or Tuesday, but not later than Wednesday. I hope so at all events, though I cannot speak with certainty as the Minister of Justice is not here to-day.
