Right Hon. W. L. MACKENZIE KING (Prime Minister):
Yesterday I promised my hon. friend the leader of the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation (Mr. Coldwell), that I would table a letter from Mr. Drew, with respect to which he said he would take the responsibility of asking that it be tabled. I wish to have a word with my'hon. friend before proceeding further in complying with his request. There had not been an opportunity for that until we met in the house a moment ago, and in the circumstances I would ask if the question of compliance with that request might stand until eight o'clock this evening.
