James Layton Ralston (Minister of National Defence)

Liberal

Mr. RALSTON:

Would my hon. friend consider dropping this motion, as I have already suggested? Otherwise it means that I have to be here every day when my hon. friend makes his motion. If he would drop it, to be reviewed and another motion submitted, he could put one on the order paper at any time. I do submit, Mr. Speaker, that a motion like this which has been standing on the order paper for four weeks should be either proceeded with or dropped.
