Did the Department of Justice receive from the office of the Secretary of State on February 5, last, petitions of right from Joseph Landry, Arthur Foucher and Victor Langevin of L'Assomption, and from Edouard Urbain, all farmers, claiming indemnities on account of land expropriations for war purposes?
2. Have these petitions of right been submitted to His Excellency the Governor General?
3. If not, does the Department of Justice intend to deal with these petitions?

3. These petitions are under consideration by the Department of Justice, and a report from the department concerned is awaited to enable the Minister of Justice to advise whether fiats should be granted.
