John Ritchie MacNicol

National Government

Mr. MacNICOL:

On Monday last I believe it was I who asked the Minister of Pensions and National Health a question in reference to the reporting of a committee in connection with pensions to widows of non-pensioned soldiers. I did not word my question properly, and the minister gave a correct answer to the question I asked, but the question I had in mind was this: Before the house adjourned
in the spring we were informed by the minister that during the summer that special committee would continue to consider the question of pensions to these widows, and we would hear something about it when the house met again.
