Mr. MacNICOL:

We will suppose a Canadian importer imports a million cans of canned fish from Japan, or some other foreign country. After the cans of fish arrive in Canada, is there any section in the act which will prevent the importer from removing from the ' cans the labels signifying the country of origin, and then putting on labels intimating that the fish in the cans was packed in Canada?
