Mr. Speaker, I understand the whips have concurred among themselves, and it appears to be the general wish of hon. members that the house should sit on Thursday. Last year the house in Great Britain sat on June 9, the king's birthday, and presumably would do so this year but for the fact that the house is in recess at the present time.
