Pierre-Joseph-Arthur Cardin (Minister of Public Works)

Liberal

Mr. CARDIN:

This is required to provide for the reconstruction of the cribwork reinforcing block, 210 feet by 20 feet located on the harbour side of the breakwater. Attention is directed to the necessity of this work by district engineer Cox, who reports that the section of work to be rebuilt is badly damaged by action of the teredo, and in its present weakened condition is liable to be washed away at any time.
