Mr. GORDON GRAYDON (Peel):

I should like to direct an inquiry to the government through the Minister of Transport (Mr. Howe). In view of the fact that the current fiscal year terminates exactly three weeks from now, and licences for radio receiving sets ordinarily must be purchased before that time, I wish to ask two questions:
1. Does the government intend to rescind before March 31 of this year the recent order in council increasing the licence fee for radio sets and otherwise altering its application?
2. Has the government given consideration to the suggestion which I made in this house on February 1 last that the licence fee be entirely abolished?
