Thomas Alexander Crerar (Minister of Mines and Resources)

Liberal

Mr. CRERAR:

I am afraid I cannot answer fully the question directed to me by my hon. friend. I believe he could get the information he desires by inquiring of the technical officers in the mines branch. I was unaware that there was a well of that type in his favoured district and I am at a loss to state at the moment whether there are other wells of a similar kind in eastern Canada. My deputy tells me that he is not aware of any. I shall be glad to get this information for my hon. friend or he can inquire of the technical officers who, I think, can satisfy him.
