I am afraid that the hon. gentleman has somewhat exaggerated the ability of the First Minister to deal with a committee. I cannot direct a committee to do anything-I am very pleased to be able to make that statement-but I will bring the matter to the attention of the chairman, who doubtless will be made aware of it by what has been said by the hon. gentleman himself.
