Mr. BOTHWELL:

In 1932-33 the item for publications amounted to 87,500. In the following year it was $28,231. Last year it dropped to 823.000, but this year it is the highest of which I have record, 832,197.60. The experimental farms vote is also higher this year. I think the minister should give the committee some information as to the publications that are being taken out of the hands of the experimental farms branch and being looked after under this item, with the estimated saving to the experimental farms branch. So far we have not been able to get any explanation of this vote.
