Mr. VALLANCE:

I notice that in the estimates for 1934-35 there was a decrease of

$150,354 in the experimental farms vote. This year the increase on the same item amounts to $122,898. The minister is reducing the amount spent for publications under the experimental farms vote and is taking that money out of the reduced vote, though he has not yet made up what he took out last year. Last year there was a decrease of $150,000; this year the increase amounts to only $122,000, but the minister says he is extending the services. How is he doing that?
