Mr. THOMAS REID (New Westminster):

On March 13 I asked a question of the Minister of Fisheries regarding the orders in council which had been passed allowing seines to operate in the mouth of the Fraser river. I asked if the minister would consider the advisability of having those orders in council and other matters pertaining to fisheries

Relief Act, 1934
placed before the fisheries committee. The minister replied on March 13 that he would be pleased to discuss this matter with his colleagues and inform me whether it was considered advisable or not. I ask him now whether he has considered that question.
