a) A vote on Motion No. 10 will apply to motions numbered 11, 12 and 13. b) Motion No. 22 will be voted upon separately. Motion No. 14 standing in the name of the hon. member for Trinity-Spadina and Motions Nos. 17, 18, 19, 20, 32, 40, 41, 68 and 80 standing in the name of the hon. Minister of Employment and Immigration will be grouped for debate and voted on as follows: [Translation] a) Motions Nos. 14 and 17 will be voted on separately. b) The vote on Motion No. 18 will apply to Motions Nos. 19 and 20. c) Motions Nos. 32, 40, 41, 68 and 80 will be voted on separately.

Motion No. 15 standing in the name of the hon. Minister of Employment and Immigration will be debated and voted upon separately.

Motion No. 16, standing in the name of the hon. member for Trinity-Spadina, is identical to Motion No. 15 and therefore will not be selected.

Motions Nos. 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 64, 67 and 71 standing in the name of the hon. member for Trinity- Spadina and Motions Nos. 31, 34, 36 and 66 standing in the name of the hon. member for Thunder Bay-Nipigon will be grouped for debate and voted upon as follows:

a) Motions Nos. 23, 24 and 25 will be voted on separately.

If Motion No. 27 is adopted, it will not be necessary to vote on Motion No. 28. If Motion No. 27 is defeated, it will be necessary to vote on Motion No. 28.

a) Motions Nos. 38, 48 and 49 will be voted on separately. b) If Motion No. 50 is adopted, it will not be necessary to vote on Motion No. 51. If Motion No. 50 is defeated, it will be necessary to vote on Motion No. 51. c) Motions Nos. 52, 54 and 57 will be voted on separately.

Motions Nos. 39 and 55 standing in the name of the hon. member for Trinity-Spadina are identical to Motions Nos. 38 and 54 standing in the name of the hon. member for Thunder Bay-Nipigon and therefore will not be selected.

Motions Nos. 43, 45 and 47, standing in the name of the hon. member for Thunder Bay-Nipigon, will be grouped for debate and the vote on Motion No. 43 will apply to Motion No. 47. Motion No. 45 will be voted on separately. Motions Nos. 58, 81, 82, 83, 84 and 85 standing in the name of the hon. member for Trinity-Spadina will be grouped for debate and voted upon as follows:

a) Motion No. 58 will be voted on separately. b) The vote on Motion No. 81 will apply to Motions Nos. 82, 83, 84 and 85.

That Bill C-86 be amended in Clause 3 by striking out lines 32 to 34 at page 9 and substituting the following therefor:

"prescribed date in each calendar year, which prescribed date shall be no later than November 1, cause"
