Douglas Grinslade Lewis (Minister of State (Government House Leader); Minister of State (Treasury Board))

Progressive Conservative

Hon. Doug Lewis (Minister of State and Minister of State (Treasury Board)):

Mr. Speaker, I think you would find consent to proceed with this Bill later this day rather than at the next sitting of the House.

The same comment would also apply to the Bill on the Order Paper in the name of the Minister of Labour (Mr. Cadieux), entitled an Act to amend an Act respecting the Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co., Limited, and also to the Bill on the Order Paper in the name of the Minister of Labour, entitled an Act to amend the Canada Labour Code.
