Mr. Speaker, my question is for the Minister of State for Urban Affairs. Is the minister aware of an article which appears in today's edition of the Hamilton Spectator in which a former aide of the Minister of Labour admits intervening in a mortgage application under the limited dividend provisions of the act involving a former law partner of the Minister of Labour, and if so, what steps did the minister take to determine the impact of this conflict of interest on the awarding of the mortgage, since two other applications for the same area were turned down?

Mr. Speaker, I have not seen this morning's Hamilton Spectator yet, but I understand that this is a matter which is before the courts. I understand the Hamilton Spectator printed an apology, but there is court action upon which I cannot comment.
