Works): Yes. The work will consist of the restoration of the outer leg of the channel to original lines and depths and some spot dredging in the inner harbour. It is not customary to reveal the estimated cost before tenders are called.

The purpose of this bill is to amend the Canada Labour (Standards) Code to require that employees covered by the code who have been employed for three months or more shall not be discharged or laid off except with two weeks' notice or two weeks' pay in lieu thereof.
