At the beginning of my remarks today I pointed out some reasons why I was certain that the people of Canada were not interested in the pure twaddle and the epithets and adjectives that my hon. friends have been using so extravagantly. The people of Canada are far too intelligent to be interested in that sort of thing. I think our friends opposite are not treating the Canadian people with due regard to their intelligence when they talk in that way.
