I thank the hon. gentleman for his kind words. If he is pleased to see me, I am pleased to be back.

As to his inquiry about the erosion of the shores of lake Ontario, I did receive a delegation some days ago complaining of the con-be dition, and one of the engineers of my department was instructed to make a special study of the levels to see whether we could find the exact cause of the erosion. If there is any federal responsibility I will submit the case to my colleagues.
