Mr. Fournier (Hull) moved

the adjournment of the house.

He said: This is the first time I have been at a loss to indicate what we should do. If we were to use the short time left before six o'clock I would have to make the formal motion to go into supply.

Alphonse Fournier (Minister of Public Works; Leader of the Government in the House of Commons; Liberal Party House Leader)

Liberal

Mr. Fournier (Hull):

Perhaps we might call it six o'clock.

Tomorrow we will take up Bill No. 178, to amend the Excise Tax Act. That is the only financial bill we can take up tomorrow, I understand. Then we will proceed to Bill No. 181, to amend the Railway Act. That is the grade crossing bill. We will then take Bill No. 153, to amend the Aeronautics Act. We will then go into supply and take the estimates of the Department of Transport.

Motion agreed to and the house adjourned at 5.50 p.m.
