PC

Winfield Chester Scott McLure

Progressive Conservative

Mr. McLURE:

At this late hour I am reminded of the words of a great philosopher who was also a great speaker, and who said he had not come to make a speech. It was the great Marc Antony who was paying a visit at midnight to the beautiful Cleopatra. He looked in and saw her reclining on a couch and he said, "Oh, my beautiful Cleopatra, I did not come at this late hour to make a

speech". I am not going to make a speech now; I simply wish to move the adjournment of the debate.

Motion agreed to and debate adjourned.

It being seven minutes after eleven o'clock, the house adjourned, without question put, pursuant to standing order.
