Right Hon. L. S. ST. LAURENT (Minister of Justice) moved the second reading of bill No. 250, respecting judges of dominion and provincial courts. Motion agreed to, bill read the second time and the house went into committee thereon, Mr. Golding in the chair. Privilege-Mr. Green



On section 1-Short title. Mr. ST. LAURENT: Perhaps I might suggest now that we report progress and ask _ leave to sit again. Certainly we could not get through the bill in the two or three minutes remaining, and it is one of considerable importance. The bill being now before the' committee, perhaps it would suit the convenience of hon. gentlemen to have progress reported. Progress reported.
