No; that is under the Department of Transport. This appropriation is to provide for the operation and maintenance of various locks and dams formerly charged to several general appropriations. The names of the dams are as follows: Riviere du Lievre lock and dam; French river dam; Latchford dam on Montreal river; St. Andrews lock and dam; Cowan dam; Okanagan dam at Penticton, storage dams on the Ottawa river, Quinze and Timiskaming.
This may not be the appropriate item, but I do not know any other. Would the minister deal with Ripple rock under this item? I noticed in the paper that there was to be a sum put in the supplementary estimates to survey it, but my impression was that it was thoroughly surveyed some years ago and the method for getting rid of it settled.
