This is a conference of the French speaking doctors of North America. As a matter of fact, this year they are using the money, as I think they did on a former occasion, to 'bring distinguished medical men from the old country.

They brought someone from Paris on the last occasion, and I know it is their intention to do so this year. Whether it is one doctor or more, I cannot say. My hon. friend probably knows that a large proportion of the French-Canadian doctors and French speaking doctors throughout America received their education in Paris, and in order to keep in touch with medical knowledge over there and apply it in their work they found it essential to form an association of their own and to bring -people over who would keep them in touch with the latest developments.
