Liberal

Mr. HURTUBISE:

The total is bigger, but the percentage is not. From the speeches we have heard to-day it is evident that the desire of some hon. members is to set up socialism and communism in this country. I trust that by these few remarks I have been able to dissipate the misapprehension and misinformation which some of the speeches we have heard this afternoon would convey to the Canadian public. In view of those speeches and the tenor of the resolution I cannot support it.
