2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The statistics regarding the number of persons receiving direct relief under the Unemployment and Farm Relief Act, 1931, were submitted by the provinces under the following headings:

(a) Number of heads of families given direct relief.

(b) Number of dependents on heads of families.

(c) Individual relief cases covering one person only.

Therefore, the Department of Labour has no information as to the division of men, women, etc., or the occupation followed by persons receiving relief.
