No. The

connection with my department is this: They are really for the Department of the Interior, but owing to the facilities which we have in the National Defence department for the purpose of erecting stations, they utilize -my department for the work. They are operated bv the Minister of the Interior.

Mr. MACDONALD (Pictou):

All the

graves of the boys overseas are being looked after by an imperial commission, of which Sir Fabian Ware is the chairman. He expects to come to Canada next year, and to give the country information everywhere, by moving pictures and lectures, showing the position of the various graves and cemeteries overseas. Our share of the matter, so far as the money is concerned, is that we pay to the central commission of the whole empire a certain proportion of the cost of the graves. We have nothing to do with the expenditure directly.
