Mr. MOLLOY:
Where?
Mr. McCURDY:
It was impossible to get what was regarded as reasonable prices for doing the work the previous year, but last August tenders were called again, and one of $10,770 was received, the others running to $18,000 and even over. The chief engineer's estimate was $11,447, and as the lowest tender was well within that mark it was accepted.
