REVENUE BIDES INTRODUCED.


The resolutions to amend the customs tariff, of 1907, were read the second time and agreed to. Mr. A. K. Maclean thereupon moved for leave to introduce Bill No. 81, to amend the Customs Act, 1907. Motion agreed to and Bill read the first time. The resolutions respecting Duties of Excise were read the second time and agreed to. Mr. A. K. Maclean thereupon moved for leave to introduce Bill No. 82, to amend the Inland Revenue Act. Motion agreed to and Bill read the first time. t The resolution respecting the Special War Revenue was read the second time and agreed to. (Mr. A. K. MACLEAN thereupon moved for leave to introduce Bill No. 83, to amend the Special War Revenue Act, 1915. Motion agreed to and Bill read the first time. The resolution respecting the Business Profits War Tax was read the second time *and agreed to. Mr. A. K. MACLEAN thereupon moved for leave to introduce Bill No. 84, to amend the Business Profits War Tax, 19:16. Motion agreed to and Bill read the first time. The resolution respecting the Income War Tax was read the second time and agreed to. Mr. A. K. MACLEAN thereupon moved for leave to introduce Bill No. 85, to amend the Income War Ta^ Act, 1917. Motion agreed to and Bill read the first time.


WOMAN SUFFRAGE.


On motion of Sir Robert Borden (Prime Minister) the amendment made fey the Senate to_ Bill No. 3, to confer the electoral franchise upon women, was read the first and second times and agreed to.
