Mr. FIELDING.

I want to say to the hon. member that I cannot tell him how much money would be paid under these words. The words were taken from a previous vote. I am inclined to think that perhaps no money would be paid under the terms of these words, but I will not say that definitely. I only know of one case to which they might refer. L may say to my hon. friend that the hon. gentleman referred to has made no application whatever I am surprised at the opposition that is manifested to this vote, and I desire that it shall stand.

Some resolutions reported.

Mr. FIELDING moved the adjournment of the House.

Mr. FIELDING.

The House will be moved into Committee of Supply, and I believe there will be discussion on that motion. In Supply the estimates of the Minister of Interior will be taken.
