The hon. member for Brantford (Mr. Coekshutt) desired to have some item reserved. Perhaps you will let the last item stand.

The several items constitute one resolution, so that there would be nothing to report.

We may have, but I do not like to pledge myself that we shall have. Let the hon. member have the discussion on concurrence.

Suppose the hon. member for Brantford wishes to discuss this on concurrence, I suppose you will not have any objection to his speaking three or four times if it is necessary to answer you?

I cannot promise about the rules of the House, but I do not think there will be any trouble about that. The fact is, he should be here.

There is no objection to the motion except perhaps that it does not go quite far enough. There are some other committees.

Then there is the committee on the Quebec bridge.

about fifteen months. There are some 10,000 files and each file occupies ten minutes to a quarter of an hour in the preparation of the return, so it is a very laborious matter. I have pressed it forward, however, with all the urgency possible and inquired about it no later than yesterday when I was told that special exertions are being made, that more than one person have been at work on it for some time past and I was informed that possibly it might be ready in the course of a few weeks. I cannot speak more definitely than that, but I am very hopeful it will be possible to present the return before the end of the present session.
