This will afford accommodation for a great deal of shipping, but there is a railway being constructed down to this point and there will be more than one line of steamers running from this point to different places. In addition this pier will afford protection to the whole of the Annapolis basin and will be a protection for the shipping that comes into that basin.

Wedge Point-extension of breakwater, $3,000.

If I understand the hon. gentleman he is asking for a statement of the votes as they appear in the estimates for each county. I shall be very 'glad to bring that statement down ; that is a statement of the votes in these estimates for each county.

1 have avoided asking individual questions in order to save time. I would like also a statement in all cases in which the amount now asked for will not complete the work and a further statement of the amount that will be required to complete the work in such cases.

Had I asked the ^question on each item I would expect the (hon. gentleman to be able to answer it. It would save time to do it the way I suggest.

As I understand, the hon. gentleman (Mr. R. L. Borden) desires a statement as to what each of those Nova Scotia items will take to complete, but where the vote completes the work you do not want a statement.
