Mr. MONK.

Before the motion passes, I would like to ask the Minister of Finance when we may expect the explanation of ministerial changes which we were told by the right hon. leader of the House would be given after the adoption of the address.

The MINISTER OF FINANCE.

I was about to say that by direction of the Prime Minister I am to inform the House that on Tuesday next that right hon. gentleman will make the customary statement of ministerial changes.

Mr. MONK.

The reason I ask is that the leader of the Opposition (Mr. Borden, Halifax) is obliged to be absent on Tuesday, and if it would be as convenient to make the explanation on Wednesday, it might better meet his wishes.

The MINISTER OF FINANCE.

Perhaps we might let the matter stand until Monday, when, if it be desired, across the floor, arrangements may be made to meet the convenience of the hon. gentleman (Mr. Borden, Halifax). For the present, I would not like to depart from the information that the right hon. the leader of the House gave me.
