Could not a clause be inserted providing that when any brand is put on the barrel indicating that the apples were of the highest character, it should be in accordance with these two sections ?

It is evident that we cannot pass this Bill through the committee at this sitting ; anfl as I understand that it is not desired that there should be a sitting of the House this evening, I would suggest that the committee rise, report progress, and ask leave to sit again.
